The hotel is located in a prime city center, close to many shops and restaurants. It is also conveniently located near the nearest subway, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Guests can enjoy a good breakfast before starting their day.

Some aspects of the hotel, such as the shower room, need improvement.

The hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. Its location, up a very steep hill off of Sauchiehall St, is perfect for walking into town or taking trains from Charing Cross station to Glasgow city centre. The staff provides excellent service, and the rooms have been recently refurbished, providing a comfortable space for families with all required amenities available. The hotel also provides lovely big soft towels, adding to the overall comfort of the stay.

The breakfast experience could be improved.

The hotel was conveniently located in the city center, making it easy for us to explore this city. Additionally, it was situated on a steep hill, which provided a unique and interesting experience. We were thrilled to discover that the hop-on hop-off tour bus stops at the end of the street, allowing us to easily access all the major attractions. Furthermore, the hotel was in close proximity to the Glasgow School of Art, which was a highlight of our trip. The staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming, ensuring that our stay was enjoyable.

    Nothing could have been better.

Great location in the heart of the city. Easy access to attractions and shopping areas. Comfortable rooms with daily housekeeping.

Outdated facilities, including frayed lightshades and broken temperature dials in the shower. Lack of attention to maintenance issues like a damaged wall in the hallway.

I had a very enjoyable stay at a hotel located up a mega steep hill off of Sauchiehall St, which added a sense of exclusivity and charm to the experience. The prices were reasonable and offered good value for money, making it a great option for budget-conscious travelers. The staff were welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The rooms, equipped with tea making facilities, were clean and recently refurbished, providing all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

No significant drawbacks were noted during my stay.

Located just off the main shopping strip, the hotel offers a convenient base for exploring the city center. Despite being on a steep hill with stairs, the historic building adds charm to the locality. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is beautifully cooked, served in a pleasant room. The hotel is in a wonderfully historic area with a living history feel.

The hotel has some temporary repairs needed in the rooms which may impact guest experience.
